Physical Therapy

Our patient-centered programs are designed by our expert physical therapists to enhance health and improve strength, balance, quality of gait, and relieve pain. Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants work on developing individualized exercise programs, stair and gait training, neuromuscular re-education, specialized pain management programs, and much more.

Injury and illness can take a toll on the body's strength and mobility. Physical therapy is designed to relieve pain and improve mobility, balance, transfers, and range of motion. Our physical therapists work with each patient or resident to help them reach their highest level of independent mobility and learn how to prevent injury.

They instruct patients in skilled techniques to improve the ability to walk, climb stairs, and increase physical stamina, in addition to assessing the need for specialized equipment that may improve self-reliance and safety.

Patient-centered programs are designed to enhance health and improve strength, balance, quality of gait, and relieve pain. Our Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants work on developing individualized exercise programs, stair and gait training, neuromuscular re-education and specialized pain management programs.

Of course, there is no one-size-fits-all technique, which is why our physical therapists consider each resident's medications, conditions, and desired outcomes to develop the most suitable, individualized therapy plan. Prior functioning, interests, and goals are taken into account as the plan is developed and modified as progress is made.

Physical therapy outcomes may include:

  • Increased Strength and Mobility
  • Increased Motor Control
  • Improved Coordination and Balance
  • Improved Overall Range of Motion
  • Improved Endurance
